Terms & Disclaimers

1. Federal cannabis disclaimer
Medical cannabis remains federally classified as a Schedule I controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act. Information on this website concerns Utah's state medical cannabis program only. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as encouragement to violate federal law.
2. Scope of practice
Solenta Wellness is a solo physician assistant practice limited to medical cannabis evaluations and recommendations under Utah's Medical Cannabis Act. We do not provide primary care, emergency care, controlled substance prescriptions other than Utah-authorized medical cannabis recommendations, or mental health treatment. Patients are encouraged to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider.
3. No doctor-patient relationship from website use
Visiting this website, reading its content, or contacting us by phone, email, or booking form does not establish a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship begins only after you complete an in-person evaluation with us and we have agreed to provide care.
4. No medical advice
Content on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Do not start, stop, or change any treatment based on information from this site. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
5. Cannabis-specific risk disclosures
Patients considering medical cannabis should be aware of the following:
- Medical cannabis is not FDA-approved.
- A Utah medical cannabis card does not protect you from workplace drug testing policies, employer discipline, child custody implications, federal firearm restrictions, or commercial driving regulations.
- Cannabis can interact with other medications. Disclose all medications to your provider and pharmacist.
- Cannabis is not appropriate for everyone — including patients with certain mental health conditions, patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and others.
6. No guarantees
A qualifying diagnosis does not guarantee a recommendation. Each evaluation is a clinical judgment based on the patient's full medical picture. We reserve the right to decline to issue a recommendation when, in our clinical judgment, it is not appropriate.
7. Payment & refunds
Payment for your visit is due at the time of service.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
If, after evaluation, your provider determines that you do not qualify for a Utah medical cannabis card, you will receive a full refund of your visit fee.
We do not accept insurance. Accepted methods: cash, debit, credit.
8. Website use
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt or compromise its operation.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site is © Solenta Wellness unless otherwise noted.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
