Utah's Qualifying Conditions for Medical Cannabis
Utah law recognizes specific medical conditions as qualifying for a medical cannabis card. The list below is maintained by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services. If you have one of these conditions, you may be eligible for a medical cannabis recommendation. A qualifying diagnosis does not guarantee a recommendation — your provider will evaluate your full medical picture.
Who we serve
This practice serves adults 21 and older with one or more of Utah's qualifying conditions listed below. We do not see patients under 21 or pursue Compassionate Use Board petitions for unlisted conditions.
When we can't recommend it
Being upfront matters. There are a couple of situations where — for your safety — we won't recommend medical cannabis, and won't be able to see you for an evaluation. We'd rather you know now than after you've booked a visit.
If either of these applies to you, we'd gently encourage you to talk with your regular healthcare provider about options that may be a safer fit. Your safety comes first.
